Holiday Programs - Portage Community Center

***For families who live in the City of Portage who income qualify***


***Holiday Intakes are now being accepted for 2019***

PCC will begin accepting applications for 2019 Holiday Programs on October 1st.  Key dates for this holiday season are:


  • Registration for holiday programs opens:                                                                      Tuesday, October 1st
  • Registration for Christmas adoptions & Thanksgiving food baskets ends:                   Friday, November 8th
  • Thanksgiving basket distribution                                                                                   Monday November 25th
  • Registration for Children’s Holiday Party & Xmas food baskets ends:                         Friday December 6th
  • Children’s Holiday Party                                                                                                Thursday December 12th
  • Xmas Food basket distribution                                                                                       Monday December 16th
  • Adoption pick up:                                                                                                           Tues. December 17th – Thurs. Dec. 19th

*You are not eligible for holiday adoption if you were adopted last year.


To sign up, visit PCC at 325 E. Centre Ave.  9:30-4:00 Monday through Friday.

Must bring the following proofs:

1) proof of monthly income for everyone in the home 21 & over

2) proof of address for everyone in the home 21 & over (current bill) 

3) proof of number of people residing in the household
