After School Programs

PCC offers after school programs for Portage Middle School and High School Students.

Middle School programs:

Mondays after school until 5:30

January 15 through April

High School programs:

PCC offers several different programs for high school students such as cooking, yoga/meditation, and community movies. Dates and times vary, please contact PCC Youth Staff (below) for more information and a current schedule.

Youth Advisory Council:

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for high school students to serve as a voice for the Portage Community Center and their community. These students also serve as peer mentors for our middle school programs and help with many volunteer projects at PCC. To be considered for the Advisory Council students must attend a Portage High School and be in at least 9th grade. Please contact PCC Youth Staff (below) for more information.

For more information on any of these programs please contact Kirk Lowis

PCC After School Programs are open to all students living in the Portage Public School District.  The program is free of charge to income qualifying families as well as students on the Free/Reduced Lunch program.

*All program participants must complete an After School Program Intake application
